Mango wood is a hardwood that has been harvested for furniture use for many years. The heartwood comes in a variety of colors, ranging from light to dark brown, with some pieces even having a hint of pink. Mango wood is inherently sustainable. The tree produces its highest yield of fruit between ages 8-10 and after that farmers often remove the trees to replace them with new ones.

This particular bar stool is made from solid wood, charred on the outside to create the black burnt coloration, and then sealed to lock in that effect. Elegantly carved with a trumpet leg on a sturdy base, with a stainless steel foot rest to complete the look. Carved from a solid piece of Chamcha wood, an acacia species native to Thailand, this bar stool is lovingly finished to have a stone-like patina and then sealed to lock in that effect.
